An Outcry

The repressed agony in silence; Be voiced
to show the cruel some retaliation
burning blood may burn the brutal
Beware, we are still One Nation

Goodness, morals, virtues all disdain,
hunger, poverty, frustrations
are all that we retain
curtly, we are going down the drain

All is wretched, sordid, muddled up in confusion,
all good is lost and worst in profusion
what miracle will it take to revert this condition
what will it take to cast a revolution ?

Pity, many of us do not even ponder
suffice to remain as moral absconder
be-ware for I am not just playing with words
but casting all the hustle in verse.

What else can be an outcry ?
